Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze patient accounts for accuracy and completeness - Ensure timely and accurate billing and collection of payments - Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or issues - Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve billing inquiries - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations and reimbursement guidelines - Collaborate with other departments to improve revenue cycle processes - Prepare reports on billing activities and financial performance Skills:
- Strong understanding of medical billing and coding practices - Proficient in using billing software and electronic health record systems - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of insurance regulations and reimbursement guidelines Note:
