Associate Analyst - Accounting

Primary Responsibilities
Review each ticket for location, volume, and feasible laboratory results.
Ticket entry, corrections, and booking of all inventory records into the Synthesis Crude Inventory System for delegated customers.
Compare tank to tank transactions for volume discrepancies.
Assist in gain/loss variances by customer during the month end process.
Interface with Terminal Operators and Ticket Entry to ensure proper data entry into the Synthesis System.
Review daily stock and pump order reports.
Interaction with Measurement Group for ticket movement analysis.
Interpret and apply customer contracts.
Prepare monthly designated customer invoices and inventory statements.
Compile tank rental report, tracking each tank by customer lease.
Complete knowledge of the terminal and pipeline system.
Assist in annual audit process by compiling requested documentation and assisting in explanations where required.
Distribute Customers tickets daily and provide customer service on designated accounts.
Special projects as required.
Minimum Requirements
Computer proficiency in business software applications. i.e. MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
Must be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Strong Customer Service skills required for both internal and external customers.
Must be able to prioritize and organize work schedule to successfully meet Organization's scheduling requirements in an accurate and timely manner with minimum supervision.
Must have effective communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
